When Do You Need This Form?

When you want to change your employer, change your job position, or take an additional job at a different position or with another employer. Must be submitted at least 30 days BEFORE the change.

  • New employment contract or binding job offer
  • New vacancy number from the Labour Office
  • Proof of qualifications for the new position (if required)

  • Submit at least 30 days before the planned job change — this is a LEGAL REQUIREMENT
  • Do NOT start working at the new position before MoI confirms or the 30-day period passes
  • If MoI does not respond within 30 days, you can start — silence = approval

  • Keep your current job until the change is approved

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Starting the new job before the 30-day waiting period
  • Not having the new vacancy registered before submission
  • Submitting after already leaving the previous employer
